Lower Back Pain

Low back pain is extremely common and may present as a dull ache, sharp discomfort, or symptoms that radiate into the hips, abdomen, groin, or legs. Stiffness, tingling, numbness, or weakness may also be present. While low back pain can develop after injury, repetitive strain, postural stress, or age-related changes, imaging findings do not always fully explain ongoing symptoms.

At The Essential Healing Center, we recognize that the lower back is influenced by a wide network of muscles, joints, nerves, connective tissue, circulation, and even internal organs. Through a comprehensive, hands-on osteopathic evaluation, we assess how these interconnected systems are functioning together. Care is focused on identifying and addressing contributing patterns—whether in the spine, pelvis, abdomen, or surrounding tissues—to reduce strain, improve mobility, and support more resilient, comfortable movement over time.
