Have you had chronic pain, been in a car accident, or suffered an injury, only to find that despite dedicated efforts with physical therapy, chiropractic care, or massage, you still endure lingering pain and discomfort?
You’re not alone.
Common pain areas include:
Hear what real satisfied patients have to say*:
Despite receiving treatment for muscles, bones, and joints the key issue may have been missed. The root of your persistent pain might lie in a commonly overlooked factor—your fascia.
*These are real patients with real outcomes. However, results may vary and are not guaranteed.
Fascia, an intricate web of connective tissue, supports your muscles, nerves, and organs. Inflammation, initially beneficial for healing, can sometimes become trapped within the fascia, creating tension and dysfunction that resist standard treatments like stretching or adjustments. These fascial restrictions can cause:
Persistent muscle tightness,
Sharp, nagging, or deep-seated pain,
Reduced flexibility and stiffness,
A lingering sense of imbalance
For deeper insights of the issue, refer to the research article here.
Standard treatments like physical therapy, chiropractic care, and massage often focus on muscles and joints but may not address deeper fascial issues:
Physical Therapy: Strengthens muscles and enhances mobility but may not release fascial restrictions.
Chiropractic Adjustments: Realigns bones and mobilizes joints but may not resolve soft tissue tension.
Massage: Temporarily relaxes muscles but might not address deeper inflammation.
While there are various treatments aimed at releasing muscle and fascia while enhancing mobility, they might not fully resolve pain if the trapped inflammation lies outside of the area treated. The following are forms of fascial treatment but they too may miss key areas where inflammation is trapped. Unless it is released, the associated pain and restriction will not be permanently resolved:
Dry Needling: Involves inserting needles into muscle knots to relieve tension and boost blood flow. Effective for muscle tension but may not address deeper fascial inflammation.
Fascial Rolling (Foam Rolling, Myofascial Release Tools): Uses external pressure to alleviate muscle and fascia tension. Offers short-term relief but may not address deeper or adjacent fascial inflammation.
Cupping: Applies suction to increase blood flow and break up fascia adhesions. Primarily targets surface tissues and may not reach deeper issues.
Myofascial Release: Manual therapy applying pressure to areas of fascial tension. Effective locally but may not target the true dysfunction source.
Acupuncture: Uses fine needles to restore energy flow. Supports wellness but may not target specific fascial inflammation.
Kinesio Taping: Uses elastic tape to improve proprioception and support muscles. Provides temporary relief but may not release deep fascial restrictions.
How Can You Address Fascial Inflammation?
Introducing Osteopathic Manipulation: A Different Approach
At The Essential Healing Center, we specialize in Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT) and Fascial Counterstrain techniques which precisely target and treat the exact source of inflammation. Here’s how we offer transformative care:
Targets the Root Cause: Directly addresses underlying fascial structures, nerves, and blood vessels.

Whole-Body Approach: Evaluates the body holistically to ensure comprehensive healing.

You and Us, Working Together
Understanding the cost of treatment is key. The Essential Healing Center offers a competitive average cost for the length of treatment.
Our comprehensive appointments are conducted by a board-certified physician to ensure personalized care.
Although initial costs may seem higher, they result in long-term savings as ongoing maintenance treatments are generally unnecessary.
This pricing comparison highlights the comprehensive care approach at Essential Healing Center, focusing on self-healing and long-term wellness without frequent maintenance.
At the Essential Healing Center, we’ve chosen to operate outside of the traditional insurance model. Here’s why: by not billing insurance directly, we’re able to offer longer, more personalized treatment sessions that help you heal faster and more completely. You’ll never be blindsided by surprise bills weeks later; instead, you’ll know exactly what your care will cost upfront.
We gladly accept Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), and while we don’t submit claims to insurance ourselves, we’re happy to provide the documentation you need to submit it on your own. Many patients find that their insurance reimburses some or all of their treatment when submitted correctly—though coverage varies and isn’t something we can guarantee.
This approach allows us to focus fully on your care, not paperwork. And that means better outcomes, less stress, and a more healing experience from start to finish.
Don’t let pain control your life. Reach out now and start your journey to lasting relief!
If previous treatments left you seeking relief, it’s time for a new approach. Contact us today to schedule a consultation and learn how our methods can help you heal naturally and effectively.
